Custom Pallet Design
Our custom pallet design allows you to get the exact pallet you need, whether it’s a standard size or a size unique to your business. We use the Pallet Design System to design and code your pallet’s weight capacity. This optimizes the design for maximum efficiency and reduces manufacturing costs and environmental impact.
Design Sampling
Before placing a bulk order, we offer the option of sampling to ensure our customers get exactly what they need. This is especially helpful for custom orders where the customer may want a specific size or configuration. We understand the importance of getting the pallets right the first time to avoid any unnecessary expenses or delays.
Heat-Treated Wood Pallets
All of our new wood pallets are heat treated in compliance with ISPM-15 to ensure the pallet can be used and reused to ship internationally. During the heat treatment process, pallets are heated to a core temperature of 140 degrees for a minimum of 30 minutes to kill off insects and larva. The pallet is then stamped to identify it as heat treated to make inspection during transportation more efficient.

Weight Requirements
Consider the weight of your product and the maximum weight each pallet should carry. This will help determine the thickness of the boards needed and the number of stringers required to support the weight.

Dimensions
The size of your product will determine the size of the pallet needed. Consider the length, width, and height of your product and add several inches for clearance space between multiple products on the same pallet.

Board Spacing
The spacing between boards affects the stability of the pallet. The closer the boards are together, the more stable the pallet will be. The spacing between boards affects how your product sits on the pallet. If the spacing is wider than the product, your product will fall through the pallet.

Number of Stringers
The number of stringers affects the overall strength of the pallet. Most standard-sized pallets have three stringers. We typically recommend using two stringers for pallets 28” wide or less. If the pallet is wider than a typical 48” pallet, we will use four or more stringers to reinforce the strength and increase the pallet’s weight capacity. In the case your pallet needs four or more stringers, it is important for us to know if your operation uses pallet jacks. This allows us to design your pallet so the stringers are close enough together that you can use the pallet jack effectively.

Strength Reinforcement Requirements
If your product requires added support, such as due to sharp corners or uneven weight distribution, additional reinforcement may be necessary. This can include extra boards and thicker stringers to increase the strength and stability of the pallet.
